Leak
Test Services
Most
radioactive materials licenses require that sealed sources be leak
tested every six months. RSSI provides accurate sealed
source leak testing on our automated, low-background internal
proportional planchet counter. Leak tests are analyzed
within 5 business days of being received in our lab and the results can
be mailed, emailed, and/or faxed to
you. In emergency situations, sealed source leak tests can
be analyzed immediately upon receipt and the results sent back to
you by email or fax in just a few hours. We operate under
Illinois Emergency Management Agency License
IL-01429-01 and are approved by Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission R-116.
