Explanation of Results

The result on the is the average radon concentration over the duration of your test. This is expressed in picocuries per liter of air (pCi/L).

If your average radon concentration is 4.0 pCi/L or above, the US EPA recommends that you should have work done to lower your radon exposure and reduce your risk of lung cancer. We recommend that you contact your state radon office or a radon mitigation service

Radon levels fluctuate daily, seasonally, and with varying weather conditions. If you tested for less than 90 days or are interested in testing different locations in your home, you may wish to order additional test kits.
